Initially we used a tracking shot of Kim as she walked down a dark street to show tension and so that the audience can get a view of what the main protagonist is seeing. We got the sound of her feet walking to add to the effect and make it more eery.
We used an over-the-shoulder shot of the man looking at a wall in a dark room. The camera zoomed out of the picture so that the audience could see the first image of pictures of a variety of young females, most notably a picture of Kim. This means that the audience can recognize the victim and the psychotic murderer in the same scene.
We then did a point of view shot from the attacker's eye-line. He is stalking the woman and is behind the bushes keeping out of sight. This confirms the audiences impression that she is being followed by the murderer. We filmed this scene in a dark alleyway. We shot the scene with a number of different variety shots e.g. Medium Still shot, Point-of-View shot and close up.
We did shots of Kim opening the door with a close up which showed anxiety and then relief as she finally got inside the building to what she thought was the safety of her house, this lulled the audience into a false sense of security. The villain was in the house but the female did not know of this. As she walked in to the toilet the hooded murderer grabbed her from behind. A mid shot was used to show her being taken, we did this to show the scene and show her emotions and interactions of her environment.
